    Prescribed Burn in Hale Conservation Park – week commencing 20th April 2020.

    Walkers are advised that the Hale Conservation Park will be closed this week for a prescribed burn. It is most likely to be held on Friday 24th April 2020.

    Cudlee Creek fire damages the Heysen Trail and other popular walking areas in the Adelaide Hills.

    Heysen Trail to be re-routed around the Cudlee Creek fireground, including Grandpas campsite. Forestry SA has closed the Cudlee Creek Forest Reserve, which includes Thomas Hill and Mount Misery to the public for safety reasons.

    Heysen Trail Closure – Southern Flinders Ranges – 22nd to 28th February 2020.

    Heysen Trail walkers will not be able to access some parks in the Southern Flinders Ranges from 6am Saturday February 22 until 6pm Friday February 28 2020.

    Closures of Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park to affect Heysen Trail walkers.

    The Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, will be closed for several periods in February and March 2019. This will affect access to the Heysen Trail. Night time closures will also continue until the end of September 2019.

Opening hours

We’re open Mon-Fri, 10.30am–2.30pm. As we’re staffed by volunteers, the office may occasionally be closed, so it’s best to call before you visit.
