Why donate to the Friends of the Heysen Trail?
As a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation, we rely on raising funds to keep the Friends of the Heysen Trail alive, so that we can continue our work maintaining and developing the Trail for the future, and leading walks for our community of hikers. If you know the Heysen Trail, then you can imagine the extent of the work we do to maintain its 1,200 km length and promote it as one of Australia’s iconic walking trails.
As well as becoming a member, volunteering with us, or participating in our walks program, another way to support the Trail and the work we do is to make a donation to the Friends.
Donations make good gifts for hikers and mean our volunteers get to keep doing what we love to do.
