    Notice of Annual General Meeting 2026 – Celebrate 40 years of the FoHT.

    The 39th Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the Heysen Trail and Other Walking Trails Inc will be held at 6.30pm Wednesday 22 April 2026 at the offices of BDO Australia, Level 19, 30 Pirie Street, Adelaide.

    New Heysen Trail Map 1, including the Wild South Coast Way.

    A new version of the Heysen Trail map 1 has just been released. The map incorporates the Wild South Coast Way and is now available on our on line store. The Friends' Map and Book clearance sale is also continuing.

    The Friends Office to reopen on Tuesday 1st February, 2022 – but operations limited due to COVID.

    The Office will reopen on Tuesday. Volunteers will be in attendance but due to the current COVID outbreak, we will not be open to the public. Volunteers will be in attendance to answer emails and phone calls, process On-line shop orders, membership enquiries/renewals and assist with enquiries about walking the Heysen Trail.

Opening hours

We’re open Mon-Fri, 10.30am–2.30pm. As we’re staffed by volunteers, the office may occasionally be closed, so it’s best to call before you visit.

The Heysen Trail is developed and maintained as a partnership between the Government of South Australia – Department for Environment & Water (DEW) and the Friends of the Heysen Trail.

The Friends of Heysen Trail acknowledge and respect the Traditional Custodians of the ancestral lands we traverse along the Heysen Trail, embracing the Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna, Peramangk, Ngadjuri, Nukunu and Adnyamathanha peoples.
