The Friends mourn the death of David Rattray, one of our treasured volunteers, who died on July 16th 2025, at the age of 77 years.
The Friends AGM was held on 16 April 2025. Neil Hendry and Melanie Sjoberg were re-elected as president and vice-president.

A new version of the Heysen Trail map 1 has just been released. The map incorporates the Wild South Coast Way and is now available on our on line store. The Friends' Map and Book clearance sale is also continuing.
The Office will reopen on Tuesday. Volunteers will be in attendance but due to the current COVID outbreak, we will not be open to the public. Volunteers will be in attendance to answer emails and phone calls, process On-line shop orders, membership enquiries/renewals and assist with enquiries about walking the Heysen Trail.

Daylight saving is here and with the approach of warmer weather, our evening walks are about to start. We also have some longer walks earlier in the day.
Vale Cliff Walsh Cliff will not be well known to most Friends Members, however he played a pivotal role in the organisation’s resurgence in the early 2000s.
