Hiking from Inman Valley to Myponga
Section 7 of the Heysen Trail takes you from Inman Valley through the Myponga Conservation Park to the pretty township of Myponga.
What you’ll experience hiking Section 7 of the Trail
Majestic gums line the roadsides leading to the climb up Sugarloaf Hill where you’ll be rewarded with great rural views. The Trail then heads into the spectacular Myponga Conservation Park for more views and some testing undulation. Pretty farmland and quiet country roads complete this section.

Walker / Vehicle access
Location of Myponga
There is very limited parking at the marked end point where the trail meets Yulte Road
Larger groups should instead park at Myponga, either along Stephens Rd or in the Myponga Oval.
This creates a 1.5 km walk out to and from trail head.
