    Stayed there September 2022. Still only $10.00 per person per night as a special deal for Heysen Trail walkers. Less than half the rate for everyone else.

    The facilities are great! The staff are exceptional.

    Beautiful place, huge! Also right next door to a wonderful winery, Tapanappa (meaning “sticking to the path” in Kaurna or Ngarindjerri languages).
    When you get one or more (so it’s useful to carry a collapsible day-pack with you) bottles at the cellar door (open 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM 7 days a week), there’s a short walk to an unlocked gate and a road into the Woodhouse Scout Activity Centre (WSAC).

    Short walk from WSAC to the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens and from there, up to Mt Lofty summit and back. Easy with a light day pack.

    In June 2019 asked if they did any deal for Heysen walkers. So long as I only used the base camp facilities, shower, toilets, shelter shed and did not use any of the adventure activities on the property got the night for $10. Arranged in advance through messenger.
