What visitors have to say…

  1. Lisa Hall

Tank only 1/4 full, I guess it gets used a lot by passers by from Ikara.

  2. Carolyn Layton

Walked past on 24/04/24. Lunch stop for us. Tank empty. Missing tap. Appears to be a newish toilet plus tank too.

  3. officeleveltwo

Water tank two thirds full 4/08/21.

  4. Friends of the Heysen Trail

FoHT End to End -2 walk group visited this site on 13/5/21. Tank water level 100%.

  5. Michael Noonan

17.4.21 Rangers say this is an unreliable water source as easy day walker access from Wilpena Pound and is on the Mawson Bike Trail. We found water but only about 200mm above tap.
Although a new campsite with a great toilet it has NO
seating, tables or platforms. Redback spiders under the toilet as well.
Not good for a new campsite!
Sign also said fees apply for camping in designated sites.

    1. Emrys Leitch

Came through on the 3rd of October 2022 and tank was empty. Thankfully there was flowing water in the creek. Heavy rain on the 4th of October may have refilled it.
