Walk difficulty: Extended Walk
These are multi-day walks, usually a long weekend or a week long trip. Sometimes a few hours drive from Adelaide, sometimes interstate or overseas.
These trips often involve overnight stays in accommodation organised and paid for by the participant.

Walking from:
Inman Valley. A very undulating walk starting with a testing climb up Sugarloaf Hill and onto Moon Hill. The trail then moves into Myponga Conservation Park where we are rewarded with good views and a few more steep ups and downs. The second half of the day involves walking along pretty rural back roads towards Myponga. There is a 2klms walk to the cars after leaving the trail on Yulte Rd.

Walking from:
Myponga. After a short road walk the trail enters the delightful Yulte Conservation Park for a few testing ups & downs. Emerging from the bushland the trail crosses open farmland towards Hindmarsh Tiers Rd and onto Lawless lane past the Myponga Pistol Club firing range. It continues up to Mt Cone (with viewss over Victor Harbor to the south) and onto Woodcone Rd for a downhill walk to the old dairy.o the the downhill

Walking from:
Mt Compass. The pretty dairy pastures of Mt Compass and Nangkita provide the backdrop for the first section of the walk. Back roads then take walkers through Finniss Conservation Park and into Mt Magnificent Conservation Park, where a short hike off the trail offers spectactular views over the southern Fleurieu Peminsula. A combination of native bushland then back road walking completes the day.

Around 19-20 klms.
Hazards
Take care crossing Victor Harbor Road at Mt Compass and along Nangkita Road. Also some other back country road walking.

Kyeema. The dense native bushland of Kyeema Conservation Park, the plantations of Kuitpo Forest and pretty back roads make this a pleasant and relatively comfortable walk.

Take care crossing Brookman Road.

Dashwood Gully Road. A picturesque walk through gently undulating farmlands, the northern blocks of Kuitpo forest and through the historic Jupiter Creek Goldfields near Echunga. A stretch of road walking completes the day into Mylor.r

Mylor. A very pretty though tough walk throught the most populous section of the Heyseh Trail that retains a rural feel. It passes through reserves and native bushland, and walkers are rewarded with picturesque Hills vistas and many photo opportunities through Bridgewater, Mt George Conservation Park, Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens and Cleland Conservation Park.nss

Hazards
Some busy road crossings and a short stretch of road walking, An undulating and hilly walk with a steep climb up the back of Mt Lofty.

Registration terms and conditions
All walks are subject to you wearing appropriate clothing. Prime considerations are warmth and weather protection. Your safety and the safety of the walking group can be jeopardised by you wearing inappropriate clothing. In an emergency situation it can take hours to evacuate a sick or injured walker. Leaders may not accept people for a walk who have not come appropriately dressed or prepared.

In the event of hot weather, the decision to proceed with or cancel a walk is made by the Walk Leader(s), having regard to risk factors such as local weather conditions, trail accessibility, vehicle support, and the physical capabilities of walkers in the group. In some circumstances, the Walk Leader may decide to amend, modify or shorten a scheduled walk. If a single-day End-to-End walk is cancelled, walk fees will be refunded. Refunds do not apply to weekend-away walks and multi-day events.
If unforeseen circumstances arise and you are no longer able to participate in the walk, please cancel your registration as soon as possible using the Manage Walk Registrations facility on your Account page.
Alternatively you can notify the office by 2.15pm on the last business day before the walk. Walk leaders do not have access to messages left on the answering machine after this time. If your Walk Leader has provided their mobile phone number you may be able to contact them prior to the walk (subject to phone service availability).
