Hiking from Cudlee Creek to The Nugget Rd
Section 15 of the Heysen Trail takes you from Cudlee Creek to The Nugget Road through sections of Mount Crawford Forest.
What you’ll experience hiking Section 15 of the Trail
Along this part of the Trail you’ll be led through the rolling hills of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges and sections of Mount Crawford Forest. You’ll enjoy outstanding views as you climb towards Mount Gould.
The section between Union Bridge and Tippet Road Cudlee Creek is closed indefinitely due to changed access to private property. Please take care when using Gorge and Tippet Roads for this part of the Trail.

Walker / Vehicle access
Location of The Nugget Rd
The Nugget Road is a very rough road.
Walkers may instead choose to park at the corner of Watts Gully and The Nugget Roads (GR 100 517 on map 2C)
This will add 1.2 km to the walk.
