What you’ll experience hiking Section 52 of the Trail
This is a predominantly flat walk below rocky outcrops. The Trail then leads across Willochra Plain to Partacoona Station.
- The Australian Wildlife Conservancy undertakes regular feral animal control in the Buckaringa Sanctuary resulting in temporary Trail closures. Learn more about temporary Trail closures in the Buckaringa Sanctuary (and other sections) click here.
- To bypass the closure south-bound walkers should leave the Trail just after the Buckaringa North campsite to follow the Buckaringa Scenic Drive south to join the Arden Vale Road … and to rejoin the Trail via Warren Gorge.
