What visitors have to say…

  1. Kaye & Paul Gilhooly

17/6/21 camped here when a big storm hit. As this sight is on a ridge about 650 mtr up it really cops it. Under the shelter the ground is sloping so if raining you will need to dig channel’s to divert the water away from your tent. Plenty of water.

  2. Michael Weinel

    Water tank full and clean.

  3. Don Andrews

    Don and Frank
20/9/2018 Camped overnight in the wind water was OK.

  4. David George

Stayed here on 17th May ’18. Plenty of wood was used for a fire using the pit provided. Water was abundant and clean. Fantastic views especially at night when Whyalla was seen easily. Thanks to the people who allow walkers to use this area.

  5. Paula Stephenson

16/9/15. Large shelter, great to camp under ad it was raining. Great views. Very exposed to westerlies. Tank overflowing.

  6. GeoJye

The Go-Cart track shelter (54 H 0233614, 6339422) was a great campsite. It offered heaps of firewood, plenty of water and a brilliant view. Tank was overflowing in November 2010..
