The on-line registration \nsystem will only allow you to register for both days.” \nSaturday 4th Oct Walk Details – 22.5km\n\nWalk 38 –Bowman Park to Mt Zion: Following the closure of the trail along the Crystal Brook\, north of Bowman Park\, this section now commences with a road walk continuing along Bowman Park Road past Bowman Park\, turning north east along Huddleston Road. The Trail then turns north up Head Road\, where it now turns back away from the road (new re-route).\n\nSunday 5th Oct Walk Details – 16 km\n\nWalk 37 Locks Ruin to Bowman Park-An easy walk\, predominantly along roads and road reserves\, this section takes us through the town of Crystal Brook\, then follows the Crystal Brook itself to historic Bowman Park.\n\n \n\nWalk Difficulty – The Heysen Trail walks are demanding and suitable for experienced walkers who have walked regularly in various terrain consisting of long-distance trails with some steep inclines/declines\, irregular surface with loose uneven\, slippery base. They have a walking time of about 5 to 7 hours and will require a good degree of physical fitness.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. SUMMARY:EE19 Inman Valley to Myponga
DESCRIPTION:A very undulating walk. Majestic gums line roadsides leading to testing climb up Sugarloaf Hill where walkers are rewarded with spectacular rural views.\n\nThe trail then leads into Myponga Conservation Park for more views and some more testing descents and ascents. Pretty farmland and quiet country roads complete this section.\n\nThere is a 2km walk to the cars after leaving the trail on Yulte Road.\n\nWalk Difficulty – The Heysen Trail walks are demanding and suitable for experienced walkers who have walked regularly in various terrain consisting of long-distance trails with some steep inclines/declines\, irregular surface with loose uneven\, slippery base. SUMMARY:TS Belair Loop
DESCRIPTION:We will explore the western end of the park making a figure 8 loop of about 11 km along three different trails. This will take us past grey box woodlands\, heritage sites and along Minnow creek. Some undulations but with plenty of flatter sections also. Some sections along Minnow creek can be wet and muddy underfoot. As the weather is warming up please bring plenty of water and protect yourself from the sun. Bring a snack as we will stop about half way for morning tea. DESCRIPTION:A loop walk with plenty of river crossings and rock scrambling. A short detour to view the picturesque Cascades. Some short but steep inclines and declines made worth the effort with this walk through the stunning Sturt Gorge. Be prepared to get your feet wet if the river level is up. Please note this is a hard loop walk of about 13km and recommended for those with Trail walker experience. DESCRIPTION:An undulating walk from Skye up a fire track past the entrance into Horsnell Gully Cons. Park prior to following the Heysen Trail into Cleland National Park where it does a loop including a climb of Mt Bonython before retracing our steps back to Skye.
