DESCRIPTION:The E2E14 Leaders thought it fitting to re-visit the first walk we did together as a group.  The original walk was approximately 13kms however\, as you are now all “Trail Hardened” we have added 4kms and a visit to Mount Lofty Summit making it approximately 17kms and gives a taste of what lies ahead in our final week\, with sections of narrow path on hillsides and some challenging hill climbs and steep descents. It is a loop so you will be starting and finishing at your cars. All FoHT members are welcome to join us\, and for those of you new to hiking\, wear comfortable hiking boots with good grip\, bring along your walking poles (if you have them)\, two litres of water\, something to eat at morning tea and something for lunch and as the forecast is for wet conditions don’t forget your rain jackets & pants etc.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.

SUMMARY:TS Cleland
DESCRIPTION:The walk will start on the Steub walking trail which climbs through forest woodland with wonderful views over the southern ridges and out over the Adelaide plains until we reach Mount Lofty Summit. From the summit we will take tracks less used until joining the popular Wine Shanty trail and on to the perimeter of the wildlife park. Taking our time we will hopefully spot some of the animals before returning to the start.\n\nAt the completion of the walk you may wish to visit the cafe for coffee or lunch.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
