SUMMARY:Stirling Dinner Walk
DESCRIPTION:Our Twilight dinner walk is \napproximately 7-8 klms in length. \nThis is now moved to Friday December 4th\n\nAfter Covid disruption and extreme heat forecast for the 27th November.\n\nThis a loop walk\, utilising the Heysen trail\, Cascade trail and the Leah fire track\,  as they meander through the Mt George conservation park.\n\nThere is one steep section so a hiking pole or similar may assist you.\n\nAt the completion of our walk we will visit the Stirling golf clubrooms for our dinner      ( not compulsory)\n\nThe club has advised that as last year\, there will be live music and most meals at discounted prices. eg\, a pizza\, hamburger etc\n\nThis is a loop walk so we will finish where we started.

DESCRIPTION:Starting and finishing through the back roads and reserves in Summertown this is a relatively comfortable walk except for the sharp little climb up behind Mt Lofty followed by a time meandering along some tracks in Cleland Con. Park before exiting back into the precincts of Summertown. As the walk will conclude prior to lunchtime there will only be short break for morning tea.

SUMMARY:After Xmas Recovery
DESCRIPTION:A pleasant loop walk in the generally less trafficked southeastern section of Cleland Conservation Park starting from Measday Lookout to work off a few of our Xmas excesses. Will include a couple of climbs; one long\, one steep & one relatively gentle before returning back along the Pioneer Womens Trail to the cars. There will only be a single break for morning tea after completing the climbs.
