SUMMARY:Hallett to North Booborowie Rd to Spalding Rd (Walks 31&32)
DESCRIPTION:Walk 31 – Saturday – Hallett to North Booborowie – A gently undulating walk\, mainly along rural back roads and road reserves. The seasonally changing hues of the surrounding farmland make this a unique and pleasant walk.\n\nWalk 32 – Saturday – North Booborowie to Spalding Road – Most of this section is spent walking south\, initially along the crest of Brown Hill Range\, following the remnants of an old 1840s stone wall (the longest in SA). It is quite an undulating walk\, with little shelter from the elements\, however the views make up for any discomfort. The last 5-6 km follow rural back roads to the main Spalding to Burra road\n\nWalk Difficulty – The Heysen Trail walks are demanding and suitable for experienced walkers who have walked regularly in various terrain consisting of long-distance trails with some steep inclines/declines\, irregular surface with loose uneven\, slippery base.
