DESCRIPTION:This walk is the first of 3 walks\, to reach the sea. This is an easy summertime walk of approximately 11klms.\nDue to the possibility of high temperatures. Ensure that you have adequate water.\n\nPlease be aware that this walk will start promptly at 7.30am.\n\nStarting at the base of the Mt Lofty Ranges. DESCRIPTION:Walk section 2\nFelixtow to Thebarton\n\nSunday 27th of February\, again an early start to try and beat the heat\, walk starting promptly at 7.30am .\n\nAn easy relaxed 10-11k mostly flat walk\, will see us enjoying some of the best scenery that our city can offer.\nThis easy section is just stunning\, we will enjoy the lovely gardens planted by our Adelaide city council gardeners\, stunning views of Adelaide Oval and the new Casino hotel\, plus the remodelled railway station entrance & convention centre deck.\n\nTo enhance our viewing pleasure we will then cross Adelaide’s Gold plated foot bridge to Pinky flat so that we get the best scenery possible.\n\nWhile in the area\, if there is a food or coffee ☕ van\, we will stop and rest allowing us to enjoy our selves.\n\nThen we will cross back again over at the Torrens weir\n\nAfter returning to our cars I intend to go for a coffee Plant4 Bowden.\n\nAs an organisation we are not promoting food or coffee gatherings at this time  due to Covid.\n\nPlease remember your water and sunscreen\, hat and 😁 ( note to self ) Bus pass.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. DESCRIPTION:A loop walk starting from Brock Reserve with a pleasant climb up towards Mt Osmond golf course offering some splendid views across Adelaide to the gulf. SUMMARY:Happy Valley
DESCRIPTION:Happy Valley reservoir was opened in December 2021 after being closed for over 100 years.\n\nIt is now open for walking\, cycling\, kayaking and fishing.\n\nWalking to the dam wall we will see views across the water to the Adelaide Hills\, then walk through some off the natural bush and onto the shore line. DESCRIPTION:This 5.0km circuit hike explores the former mine workings of Victoria Hill\, a scene of much activity in the late 1860s\, and descends into the South Para River. DESCRIPTION:This is the first of three walks that will cover the 54 km of the Yurrebilla Trail\n\nCommencing at the Belair Railway Station this section of the Yurrebilla Trail covers trails in the northern area of Belair National Park\, before descending into and walking through Brownhill Creek Recreation Park passing many heritage sites.
