DESCRIPTION:The Blackwood and Coromandel Valley  in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s was known for its orchards and market gardens.\n\nThe walk will commence along the Sturt River Linear Path and then past one of the earlier orchards established in 1909 and still owned by the same family.\n\nClimbing gradually we enter the Blackwood Forest Recreational Park with its pine trees\, an old ruin and information boards explaining the experimental orchards of years past.\n\nJoining the Sturt River Linear Path again we walk back to our starting point.\n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. SUMMARY:Balquhidder to Waitpinga - E2E17
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  The location of this walk has been changed due to road works still underway on Tappanappa Ridge Road. It is unsure if the road works will conclude\, and be suitable for our next walk. There is uncertainty if adequate parking spaces will be available or if the bus can manoeuvre safely.\n\nInstead of walking from Cobbler Hill to Tappanappa as planned\, we will walk from Balquhidder to Waitpinga.\n\nThis walk entails some road walking\, picturesque farmland\, several unspoilt sandy beaches\, creek crossings\, rocky headlands and hopefully the chance to spot whales or dolphins over our right shoulder.

SUMMARY:Belair National Park
DESCRIPTION:Belair is the second national park established in Australia and it has a lot to offer. Most visitors only get to see small sections. This walk takes you along some paths that you may not have seen before. It presents a nice mix of trails that may surprise you. So easy to access from Adelaide but you will soon forget how close we are to civilisation. Hopefully this walk will inspire you to revisit some of these trails in future at your leisure.\n\nThe walk is about 18km so you should bring morning tea and a light lunch.\n\nIt is classified as a Trail Walker so some rough tracks and inclines will be encountered – necessitating good walking boots\, rainwear and water.\n\nContact me on the day on 0400320943 if necessary. \n\nBIOSECURITY MEASURES – Please ensure you thoroughly clean your footwear\, clothing\, walking poles and other equipment before and after each walk to remove all seeds\, dirt and other debris. Removed seeds should be bagged and disposed in a ‘to landfill’ garbage bin.
